5612 – Vertex® Formula ACB-56 Low Foam Acid

FORMULA ACB-56 is a low foaming acid cleaner. FORMULA ACB-56 contains high levels of phosphoric acid and low foam nonionic detergents and corrosion inhibitors. FORMULA ACB-56 also incorporates the degreasing power of glycol ether. The formula is inhibited against the corrosive effects of phosphoric action on stainless steel, copper and brass. This low foam, mild acid cleaner is recommended for C.I.P. and manual cleaning for the removal of milk stone, hard water deposits and high protein bioslimes. FORMULA ACB-56 will produce an iron phosphate coating on steel and cast iron, providing temporary corrosion protection and an excellent base for paint.
